Drop the ken6holes.scs in your mod folder.

Add this lines to your truck definition file:

for aluminium capless ones

Truck Engine sound Pack by Bajain / vt880 reworked by bra2s




All sounds where reocrded off youtube by Bajain, edited and repacked by bra2s. Credits also go to Ivan aka hardtruckisthe best for the horn and apologies to the authors of the other horn and jakebrake sound. Don't know who they are.

All the sounds in this engine pack will require you to make some changes to the truck that you want the sound for. So please read this carefully before you do anything. It also replaces the default sound definitions so basically you will have now to edit each of your truck's sii.

The engine sounds are specified as follows:

sound.0 - CAT C15 550 for Peterbilt
sound.1 - CAT C15 550 for Kenworth
sound.2 - CAT 550 Loud Pipes (+ train horn)
sound.3 - CAT C15 550 (good for oldies)
sound.4 - CAT Straight Pipes + trainhorn
sound.5 - CAT V8 (good for cabovers)
sound.6 - Cummins 350
sound.7 - Cummins 620 (sounds great on oldies)
sound.8 - Detroit Diesel Series 60

How to use:
Open your base.scs or the scs file in your mod folder with winrar. go to vehicle/truck/definition and select sii file of a truck and extract the sii of the truck you want to have the sound.

Edit the lines:

sdata_ext: sound.0.ext
sdata_int: sound.0.int

Type the number depending on how you want your truck to sound. For example if you want your truck to have the Detroit sound the lines should look like this:

sdata_ext: sound.8.ext
sdata_int: sound.8.int

Save your truck definition sii file and repack it to an uncomressed scs / zip archive. Place it to the mod folder along with the sounds.scs file

Contents:
This modification is for 18 Wheels of Steel: Haulin' and contains various realistic
wheels. Included are:
Clean Alcoa rims with clean tires, front + rear
Dirty Alcoa rims with dirty tires, front + rear
Clean white 2-hole steel rims with clean tires, front + rear
Dirty white 2-hole steel rims with dirty tires, front + rear
Clean grey 5-hole steel rims with dirty tires, front + rear
Clean black spoke rims with dirty tires, front + rear
Clean blue spoke rims with dirty tires, front + rear
Clean freightliner rims with clean tires, front + rear

By default, all trucks will have the dirty alcoas with dirty tires. If you wish to
change the wheels on a particular truck, you must open the truck's definition file,
change the path to the wheels and pack the definition file inside an SCS file. Here
are instructions on how to do so (the peterbilt 379 will be used as an example):

1. Navigate to \vehicle\truck\definition and open the file p379.sii

2. Each wheel has a different number, therefore you must change the numbers in the following
two lines to match the number of the wheel which you want to use (explained later)

fwheel_model: "/vehicle/wheel/5/wheel.pmd"
rwheel_model: "/vehicle/wheel/10/wheel.pmd"

***fwheel = front wheel, rwheel = rear wheel

3. The following are the numbers for the wheels supplied in this pack which you can use
fwheel=99 rwheel=1x - Clean Alcoa rims with clean tires
fwheel= 5 rwheel=10 - Dirty Alcoa rims with dirty tires
fwheel=44 rwheel=45 - Clean white 2-hole steel rims with clean tires
fwheel=33 rwheel=34 - Dirty white 2-hole steel rims with dirty tires
fwheel=55 rwheel=56 - Clean grey 5-hole steel rims with dirty tires
fwheel=66 rwheel=67 - Clean black spoke rims with dirty tires
fwheel=77 rwheel=78 - Clean blue spoke rims with dirty tires
fwheel=22 rwheel=23 - Clean freightliner rims with clean tires

4. Save the file and pack into a .scs
